(ayo, this my intro. For those of ya'll who don't know,
let me introduce myself. )
My Name Is Lazarus
(let me talk to em real quick, check it out.)

There I lay, dead in my grave, in debt and enslaved
From all the sins and chains I never escaped.
The way I chose to live could never have bettered my fate.
Living in anger and fear instead of accepting his grace.
Left in an empty place all alone,
Hopeless, no love cus my heart was broken and so it grew to be hard as stone.
And I was afraid, sick as a plague,
Beginning to fade, 4 days disintegrating in a cave.
With no way out, couldn’t break or pay my way out.
Another played out fake, fast pacing down the same route
As those who hate life and wait to see the day fade out.
Who don’t welcome the light, and they would rather tell it stay out.
But God ordered for the stone to be removed.
He opened up my heart so that my soul could be renewed.
Lifted up his hands, and yelled Lazarus come fourth.
I walked out the cave, saw the light of day and started praising the Lord. yea!

God has helped me in every way.
When He lifted up His hands and He told me to wake.
My name is Lazarus.
Because of Him I am alive, when I had already died.
His love is why I’m revived.

Yea you heard it right, I’m Lazarus.
I use to live a life so hazardous, full of avarice.
Chasing all the baddest chicks and eyed the most glamorous.
Her spirit was a 10, but her looks to me were average.
Basing all my feelings on attractiveness.
I was breaking hearts and had no plans of repairing all the damages.
I was nothing but inadequate.
But the Son put breath in my lungs, now I am the Fathers advocate.
I died in sin, He died too but He’d rise again.
Created the Heavens, what problems are too high for Him?
When he knocks, hope you invite em in.
We’re here today, and gone tomorrow, can’t live like there’s time to spend.
And just when everyone thought I was gone, He
Came along and He wept cus my death was upon me.
My eyes were shut, a diseased heathen
Deceased in a deep sleep in, a dream of being freed resurrected by King Jesus.

Lazarus fell asleep, we shall go and I’ll wake em.
And all the jews wanted to stone Him to death.
Yet He would choose to go and give breath, there’s no one to get
In the way of His love, and just imagine the men around as they said said,
Who is this man who thinks he can resurrect the dead?
Full of doubt and disbelief.
He let me die, so He could bring me back to life and let the whole world see.
So anyone who was hopeless or doubted He couldn’t be,
Could see that He is the King through the resurrection of me.
And these guys think they gangsta cus they strapped with a heat?
His weapons are love and grace, my God’s a capital G.
I didn’t choose to be revived; just what happen to be.
When He’s back is when half you people will actually believe.
But I fear, that when the saints disappear,
You’ll be sitting here knowing it’s too late, the truth’s crystal clear.
